Made for the card table

🃏

Every round, step by step

Bids, then trumps, then tricks taken. The app shows who deals, who bids first and who picks the trump.

⚖️

Rules built in

The dealer can’t make the bids add up, and a round can’t finish until the tricks are right.

👥

2 to 10 players

Hands go from 10 cards down to 1 and back up. With more than 5 players, the game starts from a smaller hand.

📊

Standings and scoreboard

Running totals after every round, and a full scoreboard of every bid, trick and score.

How scoring works

  • Make your bid exactly: 10 points, plus 2 for every trick you bid.
  • Miss it: 10 points, minus 3 for each trick short of your bid, or minus 2 for each trick over.

Bid 3 and take 3: 16 points. Bid 3 and take 1: 4 points. Bid 1 and take 4: 4 points.

Answers to common questions are below. If you can’t find what you need, get in touch.

How do I start a game?

Enter the players’ names in seating order, choose who deals first, then tap Start Game. Tap Edit to reorder players, or swipe left on a name to remove it.

Why can’t the dealer choose a certain bid?

The dealer bids last and isn’t allowed to make the total of all bids equal the number of tricks, so someone always misses. The app shows the one bid the dealer can’t make, and Lock In Bids stays off until they choose another.

Who picks the trump?

The player with the highest bid. If two or more players tie, whoever of them bid first picks. They can choose a suit or NT for no trumps.

Why can’t I enter the tricks taken?

Choose the trump first. Once the bids are locked in, pick a suit or NT under Trumps and the tricks counters will unlock. The screen changes to the trump’s colour so you know play has started.

Why can’t I finish the round?

The tricks taken must add up to the number of cards dealt. The count under the players turns red until they do.

I made a mistake. How do I fix it?

For the round you’re playing, tap Change Bids. For a finished round, open the scoreboard (the grid button, top right), tap the round, correct it and tap Save.

How many rounds are there?

With 2 to 5 players: 20 rounds, from 10 cards down to 1, the 1-card round twice, then back up to 10. With more players there are fewer cards each, so fewer rounds — for example 16 rounds starting at 8 cards with 6 players, or 10 rounds with 9 or 10 players.

Will I lose my game if I close the app?

No. The game saves after every change, so you can close the app or switch off your phone and carry on later.

How do I start again?

Tap New Game at the top left, then End Game. The scores are cleared, and the setup screen remembers the players’ names.

Does the app collect my data?

No. Names and scores stay on your device and are never sent anywhere. See the privacy policy.
